COA & Testing

Our standards for independent batch testing, Certificate of Analysis publication, and product documentation.

Last Updated 24 June 2026

1. Independent testing

Every batch of product sold by Polaris Research (Polaris Research) is tested by an independent third-party laboratory before it is listed for sale. We do not rely on manufacturer-supplied certificates alone — each batch is verified against our own standards.

2. What we test for

Our standard testing panel includes:

  • Purity — measured by HPLC (High-Performance Liquid Chromatography). Our standard is ≥98% purity; most batches test higher.
  • Identity — confirmed by mass spectrometry, verifying the molecular composition matches the labelled compound.
  • Content — the actual mass of active material in the vial, measured against the labelled amount.
  • Endotoxin — tested via LAL (Limulus Amebocyte Lysate) assay where applicable.
  • Water content — measured by Karl Fischer titration per batch.

Testing is conducted by ISO-17025 accredited laboratories. Results are published exactly as received — no edits, no paraphrasing.

3. Certificate of Analysis

Each order ships with a batch number that links to its Certificate of Analysis. You can verify any batch online at our batch verification page by entering the batch number or Janoshik verification key printed on the vial label.

The COA shows the batch number, product name, purity result, content mass, testing laboratory, testing date, and a unique verification key. Certificates are batch-specific — not product-level generics shared across lots.

4. Batch traceability

Every vial is labelled with a batch number that ties it to a specific test report. Our order records link each customer to the specific batch they received, enabling full traceability from manufacture to delivery. See our Batch Recall & Withdrawal procedure for how this traceability is used if an issue is identified.

5. If a batch does not match its COA

If you believe a product does not match its published Certificate of Analysis, contact us — do not use the product:

  • Email support@polarisresearch.com.au with your order number, batch number, and a description of the discrepancy.
  • We will investigate against our retained batch records and third-party test reports.
  • Where a genuine discrepancy is confirmed, we will provide a replacement or remedy as required by the Australian Consumer Law. See our Returns & Refunds policy.

6. Supplier documentation

In addition to independent COAs, we retain supplier records including country of origin, manufacturing identity, and batch/lot documentation. This information supports our import compliance and is available to regulatory authorities on request.
