The peptide research register

Every compound we stock, with its research file attached. We count what has been published and what is registered, we date it, we link it, and we refresh it weekly. We do not tell you what any of it means.

The Register

Every compound we track

Ordered by publications in the past twelve months. Counts describe the literature that mentions a compound, not evidence that it works.

Method

How this is built

Each compound has a fixed, hand written search expression, version pinned so a change from one week to the next reflects new research rather than a changed question. Publication counts come from Europe PMC using a fielded title, abstract and keyword search, because an unfielded search matches full text and inflates a count several times over. Trial counts come from the ClinicalTrials.gov v2 API with term expansion switched off, because its fuzzy default returns studies that have nothing to do with the compound.

Momentum compares a trailing twelve months against the twelve before it, never calendar years, since a partial current year would always read as a decline. Where a name is ambiguous, such as SS-31 or KPV, the query carries a context filter and the page says so. Where a compound names ubiquitous biochemistry, such as NAD+ or glutathione, the count describes an entire field and is labelled accordingly.

A compound with little research is reported plainly rather than hidden. Most of these peptides have no remaining composition of matter patent, so there is no exclusivity, no commercial sponsor, and therefore no funded clinical programme. A thin file is usually a fact about the economics of drug development, not about the molecule.

Publication data from Europe PMC. Clinical trial data from ClinicalTrials.gov, U.S. National Library of Medicine. Public attention from Wikimedia pageview data. Evidence grades from reptides.co. We report counts and dates from these sources and link every record to its origin, we do not summarise findings. Last synced 2026-09-13.
